TERMS OF SERVICE

Terms of Service

Effective

These terms govern your use of every Android app that STARRY (“we”, the developer) publishes on Google Play (the “apps”). By installing or using an app, you agree to these terms.

1. The apps

The apps are free to use, and some offer optional paid items. We may add, change or remove features to improve the apps. Service may be interrupted temporarily by maintenance or by outages at network or data providers.

2. Ads

The apps may show Google AdMob ads to stay free. Advertisers are responsible for their ads and for the products and services they promote. See our Privacy Policy for how ad data is handled.

3. In-app purchases

Paid items, their contents and prices are shown on the purchase screen. Payment is made through Google Play with the payment method on your Google account, under the Google Play Terms of Service.

Purchases belong to the Google account used to buy them and can be restored on any device signed in to that account.

Subscriptions, where offered, can be cancelled at any time in the Google Play app under Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions. You keep access until the end of the paid period.

4. Refunds

  • Within 48 hours of purchase, you can request a refund directly from your Google Play order history.
  • After that, email support@starrybits.com with your order ID (starting with GPA) and we will review it and refund through Google Play where appropriate.
  • Digital items that take effect immediately, such as ad removal, may not be refundable once used, except where the item is defective or not as described, or where your local consumer law gives you a right to a refund.
  • When a refund is issued, the item is removed from your account.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not reverse engineer, modify or copy the apps, or bypass their payments or ads.
  • Do not click ads repeatedly or otherwise generate invalid ad traffic.
  • Do not use the apps for anything unlawful or that infringes the rights of others.
  • Do not interfere with the apps or the servers they use.

6. Intellectual property

We own the apps, including their design, code, icons and text. Data you create in an app belongs to you.

7. Market data and AI output

Prices, exchange rates, stock and index data shown in the apps come from third-party providers and may be delayed or inaccurate. They are for information only and are not investment advice. You are responsible for your own investment decisions.

AI-generated content and calculated results are not guaranteed to be accurate. Check them before relying on them for important decisions.

8. Disclaimer and limitation of liability

The apps are provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for losses caused by events outside our control, such as network or Google Play outages, or for data lost when you uninstall an app, reset or lose your device. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence.

9. Discontinuing an app

If we discontinue an app, we will announce it in the app or on this site at least 30 days in advance and handle refunds for active paid items under applicable law and Google Play policy.

10. Governing law and changes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections in your country. Please contact us first so we can try to resolve any dispute.

We will post changes on this page at least 7 days before they take effect (30 days for material changes). These terms are effective from October 2, 2026.
