Eyes Match Terms of Service

These terms govern your use of Eyes Match (the “game”), an Android puzzle game published by STARRY (“we”, “us”). By installing or playing the game, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the game.

1. The game

Eyes Match is free to play and needs no account. It has no in-app purchases. It offers optional rewarded ads, which play only when you choose to watch one. The game needs an internet connection to play.

We may add, change or remove levels, mechanics and features to improve the game. If we ever introduce paid features, we will explain them clearly before you buy anything.

2. Who can play

If you are under the age of majority where you live, play the game only with the permission of a parent or guardian, who accepts these terms on your behalf.

3. Hints and rewarded ads

  • Free hints refill over time up to the limit shown in the game. Watching a rewarded ad refills them.
  • Hints, stars and other in-game items have no monetary value, cannot be exchanged for money and cannot be transferred or sold.
  • Ads are supplied by Google AdMob. An ad may be unavailable in your region or at a given time, and a reward may not be granted if an ad fails to load or is closed early.
  • We may change how hints refill, how many you can hold and how rewards work.

4. Your progress and cloud saves

Your progress is stored on your device, as described in the Eyes Match Privacy Policy (https://starrybits.com/en/eyesmatch/privacy). We do not keep a copy on our own servers, so we cannot restore it for you.

  • Progress may be lost if you uninstall the game, clear its data, or lose or reset your device.
  • If you connect Google Play Games, your stars and clears are backed up to your Google account. That service is provided by Google under Google's terms, and we do not guarantee that it will be available or that a backup can always be restored.
  • Hints and settings are kept on each device and are not restored from a cloud save.

5. Acceptable use

  • Play the game only for lawful, personal and non-commercial purposes.
  • Do not modify, hack or use cheats, bots or other tools that change how the game works or how rewards are granted.
  • Do not interfere with ads, generate invalid ad traffic or try to obtain rewards without genuinely watching an ad.
  • Do not copy, redistribute or sell the game, or reverse engineer it except where the law allows this.

6. Intellectual property

We own the game, including its characters, artwork, levels, sounds, code and text. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable license to install and play the game on devices you own or control. Open-source components are licensed under their own terms.

7. Third-party services

The game is distributed through Google Play and uses Google AdMob and Google Play Games. Your use of these services is also governed by Google's terms and policies. We are not responsible for third-party services or for the content of ads they serve.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The game is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent permitted by law, we make no warranty that the game, its hints, its ads or its cloud saves will be uninterrupted, error-free or always available, or that saved progress will never be lost.

9. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of progress or in-game items, for problems caused by third-party services, or for indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the game.

Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including liability for our intentional misconduct or gross negligence, or your rights under mandatory consumer protection law.

10. Updates and discontinuation

We may release updates that change the game, and some updates may be required to keep playing. If we decide to stop offering the game, we will announce it in the game or on this site in advance where possible.

You can stop using the game at any time by uninstalling it. We may suspend access to features such as rewards if you break these terms.

11. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, without limiting any mandatory consumer protections in your country of residence. If you have a concern, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it informally.

12. Changes to these terms

We will post any update on this page and change the effective date above. For material changes, we will also give notice on this page or in the game before they take effect. If you keep playing after the changes take effect, you accept the updated terms.
