How to use

Pick a color
Choose a tint under Custom Color, or a mode such as Reading or Sleep under Blue Light Filter.

Set the darkness
Adjust the opacity slider until the screen feels comfortable, then tap Start.

Set a timer
If you might fall asleep, set the sleep timer and the filter turns off after that time.

Is Go Darker! free?
Yes. It is free to use and there are no in-app purchases.
Does it change my phone's brightness setting?
No. It leaves the system brightness alone and adds a filter layer over the screen to make it look darker. Turn the filter off and the screen goes back to normal.
Why does it need Display over other apps?
This permission lets it dim the whole screen while you use other apps. It is never used to read or store screen content.
Will the filter stay on if I fall asleep?
Set the sleep timer and it turns off automatically after the time you choose.
