com.starry.carvideosyncAADelay is a video player for when you watch on your phone but hear the sound through your car speakers, and the sound arrives later than the picture.
Adding a wireless adapter to a car that only supports wired Android Auto can make audio lag, depending on the car and adapter. When lips and voices drift apart, shift the audio delay in 10 ms steps to bring them back in sync.
The offset applies to every video, and your original files are never changed.

FEATURES
Each tap of − or + on the player moves the sound by 10 ms, and the slider shifts it up to 10 seconds either way. Changes apply instantly without pausing, so you can tune while watching someone talk. Reset takes you back to 0 ms.
The offset is saved on your phone and applies to every video, even after you restart the app. AADelay only shifts timing during playback, with no re-encoding, so your original files stay untouched.
Browse the videos on your phone by folder, or paste an http or https video address to play it right away. Recent links are kept so you can open them again.
Pick videos by thumbnail and duration, and search by name, folder or file type. Separate views for favorites, large files over 500 MB, videos older than 180 days and likely duplicates help you free up storage.
Skip 10 seconds back or forward, set speed from 1.0x to 2.0x in 0.1 steps, and switch between portrait and landscape fullscreen. Saved videos pick up where you left off.
Navigation prompts lower the video volume for a moment, and an incoming call pauses playback, which resumes when the call ends. If Bluetooth disconnects, playback stops so the sound does not suddenly come out of your phone speaker.
WHY IT LAGS
Your phone's screen updates instantly, but the sound has to travel through the wireless adapter and the car's audio system before it reaches the speakers. That delay depends on your car, adapter and connection, so no single value fits everyone.
AADelay sends the sound out earlier by the amount it lags, so it lines up with the picture. If the sound is late, move toward −. If it comes early, move toward +.
If the sound arrives 0.6 seconds after the picture, set −600 ms. The buttons move 10 ms at a time, so use the slider for big jumps and the buttons to finish.
Play a scene with someone talking and nudge the value until lips and voice match.
HOW TO USE
Pick a video saved on your phone, or paste a video address into Play video link and start playing.
Tap the adjust button at the top right of the player to open Audio sync. Press − if the sound is late or + if it is early until lips and voice match.
The offset is saved and applies to the next video too. If you switch cars or adapters, tune it once more.

Yes. Every feature is free and there are no in-app purchases. A banner ad appears on the home screen.
No. It only applies to videos played inside AADelay. Open saved videos or video links in AADelay to watch them in sync.
Use − if the sound comes after the picture and + if it comes before. With wireless Android Auto the sound is usually late, so most people end up with a negative value.
No. One offset applies to every video and stays after you restart the app. Only tune it again when the delay changes, for example after switching cars or adapters.
